This is another design with a special focus on recutting those badly cut stones... From time to time there's the opportunity to buy an already cut stone, big, with a decent color, clean, but with the original cut so bad that can be acquired for a low price.
The step-cut crown allows for a lot of flexibility in case weight recovery is a very important issue, since it can be easily raised or lowered.
It's a very straightforward cut, and it's also quite fast. This should make it appealing also for the "pro" cutter.
