The Gemology Project Faceting Design Contest

You can now win great prizes by submitting your designs to the Gemology Project faceting design section. This new part of the Gemology Project has been created in order to allow faceters to share their designs with fellow cutters online. Each design gets its own page with a discussion page sitting behind it so that comments by others and example images can be provided. You are urged to publish your own designs by following the instructions on the help page. This method is recommended, we assure you that after a bit of practise it will be a 15 minute ordeal. Alternatively you can email your design to one of our editors who will publish it for you.

The rules

You have until the first of August to submit your design(s). Participants can enter as many designs as they wish to increase their chances on winning one of the prizes. On the first of August a poll will be created in the Lapidary section of the Gemology Online forum where members will be able to vote for their favorite designer. The poll will run for two weeks after which the votes will be counted and the winners will be announced.
