This traditional emerald cut weighs 3.44 carats.  This regular sort of tourmaline has a nice c axis color in the ends of the emerald cut.  What makes me smile is the x-ray eyes of the camera. I can see the growth tube with my eye and easily with the loop, but the camera wins the prize for making it the center of the gemstone.  The growth tube really doesn't effect the beauty of the other wise clean bright pink tourmaline.
