This oval weighs 5.13 carats and has a fine lavender color. It is bright and clean. Its color and my spectrometer indicate copper and it was one of the first cuprian tourmaline's in my collection. I believe that this is one of the few gems in my collection that has been heated, when it was a piece of rough, to reduce the depth of its tone.
