This round standard brilliant is a little large, in the 7mm range, to be a droplet of color (small rounds cut for color). Its clarity leaves a lot to be desired, but it is a purple passion to me. Its name is branded in copper and I am sure that no one would ever heat this rainbow helper just because it would turn cyan. I also don't think that there would be much left of the gem after heating. Purple was my passage to cuprian tourmaline from Mozambique years before copper was discovered there. It was a nice trip and my purples will never be heated by me.
