This oval weighs 2.01 carats. I have professed my quest for purple before and this color, I desired, is one of those purples that can signal copper. Its clean which is rather unusual and came into my collection before copper was discovered in Mozambique. Filling out the color wheel was good to me this time. Heating would be ill advised since the cuprian red/purples and pink/purples may just loose too much color to be desirable, because of their low levels of copper.
