This traditional emerald cut is unique in the collection and weighs 3.75 carats. It was cut from a watermelon style crystal with a good, reasonably uniform rind of blue/green and a core of moderately strong dichroic color. The rind has growth tubes, but they have a minor impact on the stone. Most watermelon style crystals are not uniform enough to facet such a gem. Its pastel colors really soak in the color of the sky at dusk.
